Beware of 950buy.com – Site Will Freeze Your Entire Browser

We just ran across this site when looking for more information on RSS Submit software.

Based upon our experience you should avoid this site at all costs. It will freeze your browser and all the tabs in your browser. It also makes an attempt to redirect you to a coupon site of some sort.

If you happen to go to the website by mistake make certain that you run a virus scan on your computer. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Continuous Spam From A Profits Run Affiliate – Does Profits Run Intentionally Ignore Reports Of Their Affiliates Sending Spam Emails?

Any affiliate program can have an affiliate or affiliates that use spam to promote their products. This is understandable as there are many people who love to take short cuts to long-term sustainable success.

It has come to our attention that a particularly notorious spammer is one of the top affiliates for Profits Run. Profits Runs creates products which are supposed to help you trade in the financial markets.

Well, our associate is getting spam from an affiliate who changes his name quite frequently. Perhaps this is to avoid detection, but who knows what goes through these people’s mind’s. One of the names used is

Chris Lawrence of options-income.com and another is Martin Davies of instantoptions.org. Now our associate has informed us that the domain names change quite frequently. This appears to be Neil Corke

who appears to be a top Profits Run affiliate.

Our associate has identified the hosting company that hosts this spammers sites. The information is shown below:

IP Address: 198.247.127.210

Whois Server: whois.pir.org

ASN:  AS2914 NTT-COMMUNICATIONS-2914 - NTT America, Inc. (registered Dec 07, 1998)

IP Location: Colorado - Englewood - Ntt America Inc.

Response Code: 200

Domain Status: Registered And Active Website

NTT America has been contacted numerous times about this spam activity and not only has done nothing to stop the spammer, but has not even responded to spam removal requests.

Not only has NTT America not responded to spam removal requests, but neither has Profits Run….even though their affiliate agreement clearly states that they will “terminate you from our program” if you use spam to promote their products.
But, Neil Corke is a top Profits Run affiliate so why would they stop this him from spamming when he is making tons of money for Profits Run.

In our humble opinion we would never do business with Profits Run. It isn’t very likely that a company that does nothing about affiliates that are spamming would have a product that would help us make money in forex trading.

Beware Of Ebay Deadbeat Bidder “strong_solutions”

It is come to our attention, unfortunately, that yet another eBay deadbeat bidder has come onto the scene. What is and, “eBay deadbeat bidder”you ask? An eBay deadbeat bidder is a bidder who wins an eBay auction and then does not pay for it. According to our sources, eBay bidder, "strong_solutions" bid on an item and won the item, but did not pay for it.

A responsible person acting in good faith could have easily contacted the seller with a simple statement such as, "I'm sorry to inform you that I don't have the money to pay for the item that I won and I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused you". Based upon the information we have received, the seller of the item in question received no contact whatsoever after "strong_solutions" won the eBay auction. By not contacting the seller after payment was due, "strong_solutions" appears to have acted in bad faith.

Consider this notice to be a public service announcement if you will. The objective is simply to warn other sellers so they will not waste valuable time or effort in dealing with this particular eBay bidder.

Flippa Seller kramnave Making False Claims Of Unique Content

Wow! It seems that it could be a full-time job keeping up with sellers making false claims. Another associate of ours has uncovered yet another unscrupulous seller on Flippa.

Now the seller, kramnave is making false claims of unique content.

We think that the way some of these sellers get away with this is that they will find what other sellers are selling and then quickly throw together a website and list it at a much cheaper price. this is very effective as newbie buyers flock to these website, especially those under $100. These also often sell fast as newbie buyers most likely have already bee searching for a site in that niche and jump at the chance to buy one cheaper than any of the others listed on Flippa.

Not only are these types of unscrupulous sellers lying to buyers about the uniqueness of content, they are also using stolen content on the sites they sell.
What does this mean? At the extreme end of things it means that if you buy one of these sites with stolen content you could be sued for copyright infringement…and that, my friend, can get very, very expensive. A $69 or $99 website could then end up costing you thousands of dollars!…and even if you don’t get sued you run the risk of getting your website shut down or your Adsense account banned.

To add insult to injury the seller, kramnave has the audacity to explain why unique content is so important to the buyer!

Based on the way kramnave is conducting business on Flippa we would do not recommend that you do business with this seller.

Flippa Seller ViviendoBrands Making False Claims Of Unique Content

Yet another rule-breaking seller has been brought to our attention. ViviendoBrands is claiming the the content is unique on some sites it is selling when our source claims that this is false advertising.

We decided to check things out for ourselves. We looked at 3 of ViviendoBrands Flippa listings and found that the last 3 that were sold claiming that they had unique content did not have unique content.

ViviendoBrands has a Flippa “Trust Rating” of 14 which is one of the higher ratings that you can receive on Flippa. We place the words “trust rating” in parentheses because Flippa’s trust rating does not really have much to do with trust (but that’s a story for a different day).

We believe this “trust Rating” could possibly lull inexperienced buyers into a false sense of security and cause them to “trust” some sellers more than they should.

In any we have personally found  that ViviendoBrands is falsely claiming that the content on certain sites is unique when it is not.

Based upon this information we cannot recommend doing business with Flippa seller, ViviendoBrands.

Flippa.com Deadbeat Bidder - MMSolutions

We’ve always wondered what makes someone bid on something and not pay for it. I mean if you know you don’t have the money ahead of time why waste a seller’s time.

While we all hear of sellers scamming buyers the same thing happens the other way around. It’s sad, but true.

Now before someone jumps in and starts ranting about some people may not have the money to buy such and such let me stop you right there. It isn’t a matter of whether of not someone has the money, it’s a matter of ethical behavior. There are plenty of people who don’t have much money who don’t go around bidding on things and then not following through.

We found out about MMSolutions from an associate of ours. According to our associate MMSolutions placed a bid on a website that was listing for sale on Flippa. MMSolutions was the high bidder and was therefore obligated to pay. The seller tried contacting MMSolutions on several occasions and never heard back from him. Flippa also tried contacting MMSolutions and never heard back from him…as a result of MMSolutions running out on a transaction, Flippa has suspended MMSolutions.

Interestingly enough MMSolutions has disappeared from Flippa, but seems to be hanging around the famous internet marketing forum, WarriorForum.com.

http://www.warriorforum.com/members/mmsolutions.html

Our associate mentioned that MMSolutions is also making purchases on the Warrior Forum and probably other places as well. MMSolutions has been labeled a deadbeat bidder because he acted unethically and did not even give the seller the courtesy of a response when all the seller was trying to do was do business in an honest manner.

Based upon the reliable information we have received we would not recommend doing business with MMSolutions.

Flippa Seller – “ProfitableSitesForSale” – An Accident Waiting to Happen?

OK, so here’s the deal. We want to be the first to say that this seller looks fishy.

We would also be the first to say that it is likely this seller will be banned soon if Flippa takes action? Why? Well let’s just cover some of the basics here.

First, the seller,ProfitableSitesForSale, is guaranteeing income which is expressly against Flippa rules.

Secondly, ProfitableSitesForSale, is basing their income estimates of thousands of dollars per month on on single day of Adsense earnings and that is assuming that the Adsense screenshots are, in fact, for real.

Thirdly, why would anyone in their right mind sell a website generating $4,000 per month for $4,000. While there can be any number of reasons someone may do this something doesn’t quite click with good business sense.

If, indeed a website is making a steady $4,000 per month then you would be selling an asset that would generate $48,000 in the next year for $4,000. Deep down inside we all know that that just doesn’t make sense, does it?

Fourthly, ProfitableSitesForSale, has only been a member of Flippa since April 14, 2011 and they have already sold over $45,000 worth of websites.

If ProfitableSitesForSale is actually able to deliver what they promise then hats off to them, but ProfitableSitesForSale appears to have many of the characteristics of a fly-by-night, take-the-money-and-run type of seller.

Let’s all watch and see how soon they are suspended or banned from Flippa. Our guess is very, very soon!
